Nothing Moments
Nothing Moments is a collaboration between 24 writers, 24 artists, and 24 graphic designers. The project (organized
by Steven Hull, Tami Demaree, Annie Buckley and Jon Sueda) started by each writer providing a story to an artist,
who then created imagery in response to the story. The resulting text and artwork was then passed on to a
graphic designer who designed the final book. Each participant was instructed to respond the the given content freely,
all three participants treated as a equal collaborators. The collection of 24 books and the artwork is now a traveling
exhibition.

Farewell NL (Netherlands) lecture by Harmen Liemburg and Jon Sueda Poster
In late August, Jon was asked by Kali Nikitas (new program director at OTIS) to do a silkscreening workshop and
present STRIPE'S work in tadem with Harmen Liemburg. The workshop assignment was to silk-screen a press-kit
cover using paper stencils. This poster was made with paper stencils and was printed as a demo for the students.

Caring for large animals has taught us to keep moving quietly and steadily. Feeding, watering and encouraging
unpredictable creatures to move where you’d desire them to be is very similar to typographic development and
process. One huge difference is that errant typography can’t crush or break bones.
